About Us

ReGeneration Productions is the first online platform for regeneration based education in Aotearoa NZ. We are working in partnership with the Koanga Institute which has more than 50 years of experience in designing, implementing and living in regenerative systems.
Together we are producing online courses including videos, resource bases and webinars. Our courses are filled with visual references and theoretical information, they are easy to comprehend and affordable.

Regeneration Productions is comprised of two co-founders, Kay Baxter and Vitor Crispim. Together they have a shared passion for regenerative gardening, living and education. Kay holds a wealth of knowledge and Vitor is a magician with the camera, together they make up the ReGeneration Productions core team. Kay and Vitor are also passionate about playing a strong role in the creation of a global network of high impact change makers, the details of which can be found on the community page on this site.

Kay Baxter co-founded the Koanga Institute  in New Zealand and has been an organic gardener for over 50 years. She has also been a pioneer of Permaculture within New Zealand and has been teaching permaculture design courses for over 35 years. Through her passion, hands on experience and intensive research she has built up a vast amount of knowledge in the areas of soil regeneration, home gardening, seed saving, nutrient dense food production and the links between regenerative food systems and human health.

In 2017, Kay was awarded a New Years Eve Honour from the Queen for her services to sustainable agriculture and heritage seed saving. Earlier in 2020 Kay Baxter was invited to be a fellow of the Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation, she accepted and is a current member of cohort 6. Within the Regeneration Productions framework Kay Baxter is the course writer and designer, teacher and co-director.

Vitor Crispim is a young Latin-American passionate about promoting regeneration through environmental education, shamanism, and the arts. He has worked with indigenous communities from Brazil and works towards making the cultural heritage of his people available to the youth.

In late 2019 Vitor Crispim was invited to be a fellow of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship, he is a member of cohort 6 and through his work with ReGeneration Productions and EHF has recently become the youngest person in NZ with a Global Impact Visa. Within the ReGeneration Productions framework Vitor Crispim is the Technology & Film Director and Co-Founder.
