Kia ora koutou,
This was a very exciting month for the ReGen urban gardening team, the garden is looking amazing, we’ve been harvesting and storing lots of food, and we’ve harvested the honey from our Warre beehive for the first time! We’re in the process of designing and establishing two new food systems in the choock house, one is a light trap the collects bugs for the chickens to eat and the other is for mushroom production. We’ll share those designs with you next month.
The ReGen Urban Garden is a space in which we film videos to educate gardeners about appropriate strategies and techniques to use in urban situations. This set of management episodes is for gardeners who want to develop and manage their urban gardens in a regenerative way and get the most out of a small area. Each episode we’ll have an overview of what’s happening in the garden, and there will be additional videos below with detailed instructions to show you exactly how we do things.
